Sherry Chris

Sherry Chris is president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC, a subsidiary of Realogy Corporation. Sherry has more than 30 years of real estate experience, including, significant senior management positions in the areas of sales, marketing, new technologies, and franchise management. Sherry serves on the advisory boards for Realtor.com and Zillow and has been part of a number of industry and technology-related advisory boards, including Trulia and Google Real Estate.  In addition, she is the vice chair of the national board of directors at the non-profit organization, Rebuilding Together and vice chair of the real estate services advisory board at NAR.

Beth Whitehead

Beth Whitehead is the chief administrative officer and executive vice president of American Savings Bank (ASB). Beth oversees a wide range of functions including Human Resources, Learning and Development, Community Advancement, Communications, Public Relations, Government Affairs, Corporate Real Estate and Facilities, Legal, Compliance and Corporate Security. Additionally, Beth is overseeing the planning and construction of ASB’s new campus.

Kelly Hoen

Kelly Hoen has over 22 years of experience in leading hotels in Hawaii.  In her current role as General Manager of The MODERN HONOLULU, she is leading the team to build a new stylish lifestyle brand that defies convention.  She leads all aspects, to include Sales and Marketing, Operations, Team Member engagement, and community relations. Prior to her current role, she was General Manager at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort where she led its team through an $80 million renovation and rebranding of the hotel. Her leadership transformed the iconic hotel into a world‐class resort generating over $70 million per year. 

 

Scott Creel

Scott Creel is Senior Marketing Manager, General Growth Properties of Ala Moana Center. Ala Moana Center (AMC) is the largest shopping center in the State of Hawaii and the largest open-air shopping center in the world.  With 340 stores and restaurants, Ala Moana Center achieves an estimated 48 million shopping visitations per year with sales exceeding $1 billion annually, and is General Growth Properties flagship shopping center among its 120 properties nationwide.  Leading Ala Moana Center’s consumer marketing efforts is Scott Creel, senior marketing manager, who along with his dedicated local team and with support from some of Hawaii’s top advertising and public relations agencies helps increase AMC’s pre- and post-arrival brand awareness to a worldwide customer audience including the important Asian markets of Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan, as well as Oceania and the Hawaii resident.  

 

Jed Carlson

Jed Carlson is a serial entrepreneur with a focus on technology and marketing, and is the CEO of Adwerx. Previous ventures include SmartPrint, a division of AmeriDisc Inc, and ReverbNation, the music-marketing platform with 3.5 million users. Jeff Hyland

Jeff Hyland is a real estate expert, architectural historian, author, and the co-founder and President of Hilton & Hyland. Growing up in Little Holmby, the iconic area between UCLA and Beverly Hills, Hyland discovered his passion for real estate and architectural design at an early age. As the son of a writer father and artist mother, he also spent much of his youth in and around Beverly Hills, where he bore witness to the growth that defines the city today. 

 

Andy Ardila

Nick Vanderboom

Nick Vanderboom is Senior Vice President, Development, leading all development activities for the company's Hawaii assets, including Ward Village. In this role, Nick touches all facets of the development process, including entitlements, community relations, leasing, marketing, design and construction. He is also active with corporate initiatives and works with senior management on development, strategic planning and communications.

 

Chad Roffers

Chad Roffers is an entrepreneur who has overseen the successful sale of more than $1 billion in real estate worldwide. As the managing director and chairman of international luxury real estate company Concierge Auctions, Roffers draws on his background in online advertising, negotiation and real estate sales to manage the selection and marketing of auction properties spanning the globe. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in political science, Roffers served as the director of business development at US WEST, while simultaneously pursuing his MBA at the University of Denver. 

 

Paul Boomsma

With over 20 years of experience in real estate, Paul created the Luxury Portfolio program, which he continues to lead as president. He also oversees Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, serving as COO. Paul began his career marketing office towers and later joined a top residential firm becoming Marketing Director for a major franchise. Today, he is an industry speaker on topics like raising the bar for branding, synergies with the resort market and the luxury market. Chris Webster

Since 1971, Chris Webster has integrated numerous successful activities as an international real estate broker, developer, consultant, art dealer, and entrepreneur, all of which have continually yielded accolades and respect from clients and colleagues alike. He founded his estate brokerage in 1976 that subsequently became Sotheby’s International Realty's exclusive affiliate for New Mexico and Mexico, was recognized as the affiliate of the year in 1992, and in 1998, Chris sold his Santa Fe brokerage to Sotheby’s Holdings as their first ever acquisition of an affiliate company. Earl Lee        

Earl Lee became the Co-President and Kailua branch manager for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hawaii Realty in March of 2016. Earl in December 2014 retired from his position as CEO of HSF Affiliates LLC, which he held since 2012. HSF Affiliates LLC, operates the real estate brokerage networks of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServicesSM, Prudential Real Estate, and Real Living Real Estate. He also served as president of Prudential Real Estate.

Earl led the Prudential Real Estate network for most of the past decade, first as president of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates from 2000 to 2006, and as president of Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services from 2008 through 2011. He oversaw Prudential Relocation for five years in addition to these assignments. 

 

Scott Higashi

Karl Heyer

Karl Heyer IV is the managing member of Heyer & Associates. Karl has been actively involved in real estate devel­opment for more than 25 years. His experience includes new business development, project feasibility, new product sales and marketing, with a specialization in high-rise luxury real estate sales and marketing in Honolulu. His knowledge of inventory, economic conditions, and historical perspective combine for a unique understanding of the marketplace and the forces driving it.
